Windy City provides a professionally run league for K through 8th graders. Games are small sided and played on a smaller field. Players will receive equal playing time. Each session will consist of a skills component and several league games. Tournament style is round robin and champions are named. All coaches and umpires are trained and supervised by the Windy City directors who are experienced field hockey professionals. Each team coach is given an age appropriate curriculum to follow so all players receive consistent information.

EQUIPMENT/UNIFORMS

Each player will receive a Windy City colored game jersey and colored socks to keep. Each player is required to have her own plain black shorts, stick, shin guard, mouth guard and eyewear (optional). Mouth guards are mandatory or the child will not be able to participate.

CONFIRMATION INFORMATION

All league confirmation, team rosters, medical waivers and game schedules will be communicated by e-mail and the Windy City web site. As registrations are received, the players name will be updated on the Confirmed Players List on the web site on a periodic basis; click on Roots, click on Confirmed Players List.
